Sew Your First Tweed Tailored Jacket

Learning how to sew a tweed tailored jacket is a demanding sewing project, but an incredibly rewarding one. This advanced sewing course was designed for sewists who want to go beyond simplified methods and discover true professional tailoring techniques, the kind used in couture houses.

Through a women’s tailored jacket pattern and detailed guidance, you will learn how to create a structured, elegant, and long-lasting jacket, with high-end couture finishes specifically suited for tweed.

A Tailoring Course Inspired by Couture Houses

This tailored jacket sewing course is based on a precise, artisanal approach. As a former seamstress who worked for Chanel, Dior, Schiaparelli, and Courrèges, I share in this class the real techniques used in professional ateliers, adapted for demanding home sewing.

The goal is not simply to sew a jacket, but to understand the logic of tailoring: structure, balance, construction, and finishes. This approach is directly inspired by haute couture, without excessive simplification.
